Political Action Committee
OAPA PAC is a nonpartisan committee that engages with and provides financial support for candidates and elected officials who help to advance physician assistant practice through legislation that is favorable to the profession.
Membership dues paid to OAPA do NOT support the PAC, however, a portion of dues income, along with contributions to OAPA's Legislative Fund, underwrites OAPA's advocacy efforts with our lobbying firm. However, this lobbying activity is separate from the OAPA PAC.
The OAPA PAC accepts contributions* from members and has finances that are held separate from OAPA. PAC contributions may not be from a corporation and must be made by personal credit card or check, reflecting the contributor's home address.
Please consider supporting the OAPA PAC so that we may engage in opportunities to support candidates and officials who are doing good work in support of the PA profession.
