Which membership is right for me?
- I am a PA, I live or work in Ohio, and I am an AAPA member → Fellow ($185 annually, or $505 for 3 years)
- I am a PA, I live or work in Ohio, but I am not an AAPA member → Associate ($185 annually, or $505 for 3 years)
- I am a PA in my first year of practice and I live or work in Ohio → New Graduate ($110 annually)
- I am retired from PA practice* → Retired ($92.50 annually)
- I am currently a student in PA school → Student ($50 for the tenure of your program + 6 months post-graduation)
- I am exploring PA school and the profession → Pre-PA ($50 annually)
- I am a physician who supports PAs → Supporting ($110 annually)
- I do not fit the categories above but want to stay connected → Affiliate ($85 annually)
Voting and leadership eligibility vary by membership category. Please see the OAPA Bylaws for details.
*For the Retired category, OAPA membership for 10 consecutive years prior to making application is required.

Dues paid to OAPA are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. However, a portion of your dues may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense subject to restrictions imposed as a result of OAPA lobbying activities. OAPA estimates that the non-deductible portion of your dues - the portion allocated to lobbying - is 50 percent (50%).
