“ER or Not? Conditions You Can Own In the Primary Care Office"

  • Appropriately risk stratify pediatric closed head injury patients
  • Apply current guidelines for management of acute, non-extensive deep vein thrombosis
  • Identify key feature of the medical stability assessment for a patient presenting with presumed psychiatric condition

Speaker Information:

Amy Wilson HeadshotAmy Wilson, MSBS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant with over a decade of emergency medicine experience and a strong record of leadership in PA education. Since 2013, she has practiced in the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic, providing comprehensive patient care alongside physicians, from complex suturing to fracture reduction and hospital admissions, while precepting students. In academia, Amy currently serves as Assistant Professor at Baldwin Wallace University, where she directs the Laboratory and Diagnostic Studies and Emergency Medicine and Psychiatry courses. She previously served as Assistant Clinical Professor and Principal Faculty at Ashland University, directing the Patient Assessment and Clinical Skills courses and serving as Assessment Coordinator, and has also taught for the CWRU PA Program.
