Insulin Pharmacology and Diabetes Technology Review

Speaker Biography:
After completing her Master’s degree in biology at University of Akron with a thesis topic in molecular endocrinology, Caitlin entered the physician assistant studies program at University of Texas Medical Branch. She was eager to explore clinical endocrinology and found a home in the specialty early in her training. Caitlin completed PA school in 2017 and has been practicing diabetes management exclusively since 2018. Caitlin has been working at University Hospitals since 2019, where she is a part of the inpatient diabetes management team. Her role includes a weekly clinic devoted to hospital discharge follow up and post transplant diabetes, she emphasizes the use of diabetes technology to improve efficacy and safety of diabetes treatment.
