Headaches/ Facial Pain - Vantage Point ENT

Speaker Biography:
Ms. Adele Rauen has been a Physician Assistant with the University of Cincinnati Department of Otolaryngology-Division of Otology/ Neurotology and Skull Based Surgery since 2013. In 2019 she was appointed Epic Poweruser for Otolaryngology. She works with a select UC team to improve provider education in the electronic health records system. Ms. Rauen has a special interest in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and central vestibular pathologies. Recently she joined the inaugural TBI multiple disciplinary task force to improve patient outcomes post TBI and concussion.
Ms. Rauen was born in Erlanger, KY and grew up in Lexington, KY. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. She received her Master’s in Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Orlando, FL. She believes that education and personal growth are key to maintaining an excellent medical practice. She lectures at conferences and physician assistant programs nationwide. Her research interests include traumatic brain injury, vestibular migraine and increased intercranial hypertension (IIH), peripheral/ central vestibular pathologies, and electronic health record's correlation to provider training and patient satisfaction.
