The ABCs of Trauma Resuscitation

Learning Objectives:

  • Evaluate the critically injured patient by recalling the essential components of the trauma exam.
  • Diagnose life-threatening traumatic injuries by analyzing lab results and interpreting adjunctive images.
  • Predict early cardiovascular collapse and develop a treatment plan to prevent death.

Speaker Biography:

 
Morgan WilliamsMorgan Williams, a Physician Assistant at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center since 2016, specializes in Trauma Critical Care. She graduated from Lake Erie College PA Program, and is active in AAPA, OAPA, and Pi Alpha Honor Society. Within UH, Morgan serves on the Simulation and APP Acute Care Education Committees, and leads in Surgical ICU and Neurosciences ICU. She contributes to the Lake Erie College Steering Committee as adjunct clinical faculty. Morgan focuses on trauma resuscitation and critical patient stabilization. Outside work, she enjoys travel, hiking, kayaking, and family time with her doodles, Leia and Winnie.
