AAPA State Advocacy Update

  • Identify ways PAs and PA students can engage in PA advocacy

Speaker Biography:

Hannon HeadshotBryan Hannon is the Director of State Advocacy and Outreach for the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) where he supports legislative campaigns and regulatory efforts across eleven states
for AAPA and their constituent organizations. Prior to joining AAPA, Hannon spent more than eight years with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) where he held a number of roles during his tenure, including Grassroots Manager, Government Relations Director, and Regional Director of Government Relations. Bryan also spent time as a legislative assistant at the Indiana State Senate and has held various roles for political campaigns and non-profit organizations over the years. He earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and completed graduate coursework at Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He resides in Indianapolis with his wife and two boys.
