Medicare Expands PA-Ordered Test Coverage
Thanks to AAPA’s advocacy, Medicare now covers non-invasive colorectal cancer screening tests ordered by PAs. This change broadens access to vital screenings, promoting early detection of treatable illnesses. The country’s more than 200,000 PAs can now order these tests, enhancing healthcare accessibility at a time when colorectal cancer rates continue to rise.
