Ohio Receives Rural Health Transformation Funding Following Workforce Reform Commitments
Ohio Association of Physician Assistants welcomed the recent announcement that Ohio has been awarded funding through the federal Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), a multi-year initiative directing up to $50 billion nationally to help states strengthen rural healthcare delivery. Ohio is expected to receive $202,030,262 in 2026 to support targeted reforms designed to expand access, improve outcomes, and strengthen the healthcare workforce.
OAPA Receives 2026 AAPA Advocacy Grant Funding to Advance PA Practice in Ohio
For the second year in a row, OAPA sought grant funding to support a strong legislative agenda. AAPA recognized our advocacy efforts and again chose to support OAPA as we pursue our vision of Ohio as the premier state for PA practice.
