The State Medical Board of Ohio recently voted to make several changes to the questions on the initial physician assistant application and renewal application. The board anticipates the updates to the application taking effect on November 12.
Some of the changes include:
If you have a supervision agreement with a physician and do not work in a hospital setting, you must upload a list of your supervising physicians along with their practice locations.
For this requirement, a hospital setting means an institution or facility that provides inpatient medical or surgical services for a continuous period longer than 24 hours (see Ohio Revised Code 3722.01(C)).
