Kathleen (Katy) Martinelli, MHS, PA-C is a 2002 graduate of the Duke Physician Assistant program and has spent the first 15+ years practicing mainly in orthopaedics. She has worked extensively with physicians in a variety of orthopaedic subspecialties which include sports medicine, shoulder and elbow, adult reconstruction and foot and ankle orthopaedics. Katy has also spent much of her career as an educator of both students and peers through her extensive lecturing at national conferences and a variety of Physician Assistant Program around the country. Teaching is a passion of hers and she enjoys the opportunity to share her knowledge with others whenever possible. Currently she is working with the Thoracic Oncology team at the Cleveland clinic and is enjoying this new clinical challenge after over 20 years as an orthopaedic PA.
