“Anemia: Evaluation and Management in the Primary Care Setting"

Speaker Information:
David DeLaet is an Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, with his appointments at both within the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. He also serves as Assistant Program Director for the MMSc. in Biomedical Science Program at Miami University. Dr. DeLaet provides primary care for adult patients of all age ranges and is an educator in the IM Resident Primary care practice at UC. He serves on the Institutional Review Board at the ISMMS. He is the co-editor of Care of Adults with Chronic Childhood Conditions: A Practical Guide (1st and 2nd editions) and co-author of Global Health in the 21st Century: The Globalization of Disease and Wellness, having an interest in education focused on both the transition of care for young adults with complex conditions of childhood onset as well as the social determinants of health.
