Join us for this virtual event and earn CME* as we hear from Emily Doycich, PharmD, BCPS, and Shanail Berry, M.D. on the topic of Weighing Your Options: A Review of Antiobesity Treatment Options.
During this session the speakers will review appropriate criteria for medical weight management, review current medications approved for weight loss, discuss other mediation considerations to aid a patient with their weight loss goals, and use patient case scenarios to apply this information.
By attending this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the role of medications in the treatment of obesity
- Discuss commonly prescribed medications that may cause weight gain or interfere with weight loss efforts
- Select most appropriate medication choice for weight loss through patient case scenarios
