Stephanie Zampino HeadshotDr. Stephanie Zampino is a Clinical Lead Pharmacist in Internal Medicine and Transitions of Care at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, as well as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), in Rootstown, Ohio. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from NEOMED in 2018 and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Summa Health after which she obtained board certification as a pharmacotherapy specialist. At Summa, Dr. Zampino rounds with an interprofessional medical team to provide care for a diverse population of adult patients in an underserved community. At NEOMED, she teaches a wide range of pharmacotherapeutic disease states and is a course director for interprofessional education. Dr. Zampino has received awards for precepting of pharmacy residents as well as humanitarian work completed for the NEOMED Student Run Free Clinic, of which she serves in an advisory role.
