Health Express Urgent Care Centers LLC is a privately owned urgent care and occupational medicine facility with locations in Parma and Avon Lake, Ohio; our third-location will be opening in the upcoming months. We are a physician owned and operated center that specializes in acute, non-emergent health care for both adults and children. We opened our doors in 2015, have built a trusting relationship and reputation within the community, and are currently in works of opening our second location in the near future.
We are seeking a well skilled, outgoing, personable, highly productive team player physician assistant. Our new member to the team will in our rapidly growing, fun, and family oriented Urgent Care as we provide the absolute best in Urgent Care Services in the area.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
Required: At least one year clinical PA experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required: Current Ohio license , DOT Certification for D.O.T. Physicals within 3 months of hire, Current DEA.
TRAITS & SKILLS:
- Must be self-directed / self-motivated; must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Must be able to see high volume of patients.
-Experienced with pediatric patients and procedures.
-Work independently
-Convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress and/or grief.
-Relate to others in a manner which creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation.
-Communicate effectively with people from every socioeconomic, cultural and educational background.
